Held in Beijing from October 24 to 26, 2025, the 3rd CATA Aviation Conference witnessed the stunning debut of agricultural plant protection drones from Wuxi High-tech Zone (Xinwu District). Wuxi Hanhe Aviation Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., one of the four key low-altitude enterprises from the district participating in the exhibition, garnered attention from CCTV.
On October 27, CCTV’s Midnight News aired a segment titled “UAV Solutions at the 3rd CATA Aviation Conference Boost Production and Travel”. The rice transplanting-specific drone developed by Wuxi Hanhe Aviation was featured in the program. With seeding efficiency 100 times that of manual labor and a cost only one-tenth of manual work, the drone secured dozens of orders immediately after its appearance at the conference.

The Smart Agricultural Robot Project of the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center was officially launched, and the city’s first “smart agricultural cloud” platform was built.
Looking ahead to the “15th Five-Year Plan” for the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas, the district will continue to vigorously cultivate new quality productive forces in agriculture, strengthen scientific and technological empowerment for agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, accumulate new momentum for development, and further expand the six major agricultural industrial clusters: agricultural machinery and equipment, agricultural chips, bio-agriculture, high-end processing, agricultural e-commerce, and socialized services. Efforts will be sustained to grow leading agricultural enterprises, emerging technology enterprises, and high-quality agricultural product brands, providing “Xinwu Experience” for the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas.
